Given to all patients after surgery. The lotion should be applied to the recipient and donor areas by tapping gently. Wait about 15-30 minutes to wash it off with warm water and shampoo. Avoid scratching the receiver area and be very careful with the towel. Hair should be washed daily until all crusts fall off.If the donor area feels dry between washes, a light coat of lotion can be applied to soothe it. In this case, washing is not necessary.
SCAREX OR CONTRACTUBEX CREME
Used to reduce the scar in the donor area. It can only be applied to the donor area from which the grafts were taken. It should be used twice a day.It can be used as early as 14 days after the procedure of Hair Transplant in Dubai .
USE OF ANTIBIOTICS AFTER HAIR TRANSPLANTATION
Antibiotics are usually prescribed immediately after the procedure for 3 to 5 days. They are used to prevent possible infections and to ensure smooth healing. Our patients receive antibiotics in the clinic.
Antibiotic cream (fusidin or bacitracin) may be needed during the healing process.If you notice pimples or bumps in the recipient or donor area, this cream should be applied directly to the inflamed areas.
FINASTERIDE (PROPECIA 1MG OR PROSCAR 5MG)
Prescribed when needed. It is used to strengthen weak hair and minimize future hair loss. Also used to minimize shock loss after surgery. Patients may notice a decrease in libido.This rare side effect is temporary and goes away when you stop taking the pill.
Propecia 1mg - Take 1 tablet per day, preferably at the same time each day.
MINOXIDIL (5% OR 2%) - SPRAY OR FOAM
Prescribed as needed. Male patients should choose the 5% version and female patients the 2% version.Used to minimize natural hair loss and speed up regrowth of transplanted grafts.
